Cost Of Living Pressures Aren’t Easing

Citizens Advice recently launched the National Red Index, using the unique data we get from the people we help to estimate how many people across the country are in a negative budget (where their essential costs are higher than their income).

The reality is pretty staggering with nearly 5 million people on a negative budget. When looking at such huge numbers, it can be easy to forget the individual people behind each one. So what if we zoomed in and looked at just one person who came to us for help with debt in the last year: Sarah.
